Orlando

104

Second time in Daytona Beach, driving by the famed International Speedway.

106

Crossing over to Daytona Beach.

110

They call it the World's Most Famous Beach.

120

Nice setting for Snow Crab Legs and Grilled Mahi Mahi.

118

Strolled a decent length of the beach, imagining the generations of memories.

126

Zeno's is famous for their taffy and homemade ice cream. That is Banana Pudding, not recommended.

132

Driving north on A1A.

134

Big homes and beach towns.

136

O'Steen's famous Fried Shrimp. Accompanied with Hush Puppies, Cole Slaw and Squash Casserole.

138

St. Augustine northerly Florida location made it the first development for Henry Flagler's hotel and train empire. The Ponce De Leon Hotel opened in 1888.

140

Imagine being dropped off by the coach in this courtyard.

142

Then entering this lobby.

144

To be taken to your room.

146

Across the street was The Alcazar. Also opened in 1888, this Spanish Revival had an interior courtyard of lush tropical plants.

172

Always wanted to make it back to St. Augustine, America's oldest city.

150

This is exactly how it looked in 1565.

152

Well, they may have not had ice cream.

155

Colonial charm and pedestrian streets.

160  162

 All on the water

163

Castillo de San Marco was built in 1672 by the Spanish.

164

A waterway once guarded by canyon.

167

One more walk through the colonial quarter, a cozy moment at every look.

168

Starting the day in Orlando's Ivanhoe Village neighborhood just north of downtown.

212

For Country Fried Chicken at the popular White Wolf Cafe.

220

Then down to Lake Buena Vista to Disney Springs.

222

Nice day, but not a Disney fan.

224

226

Then back north to Winter Park starting with Blondie Ice Cream.

228

Love me a market. This is East End, also in Winter Park.

230

Peanut Butter Crunch at the famed Gideon's Bakehouse.

232

There is a boat tour that takes advantage of Winter Park's series of lakes. It starts on Lake Osceola.

234

Then a canal, originally used for logging, brings you....

236

...to see the cottages on Lake Virginia.

238

Doubling back, another canal...

242

...showcases more poverty on Lake Maitland. The largest house is 40,000 square feet.

244

Park Avenue is Winter Park's downtown strip.

248

It borders Central Park.

250

In a nondescript strip mall in a nondescript part of Orlando is a Brazilian restaurant featured on DDD that has Rosti.  Which is really Swiss.
