Sherbrooke is the largest town in the southern Quebec province. And downtown had lot of graffiti.

Magog and nearby Lake Memphremagog. Hmmm, maybe they call it Lake M?

 

Downtown Montreal is gritty.

But first started walking Vieux Montreal.

Built 1824 to 1829, the interior was done later 1872 to 1879.

The organ is from 1891 with 7,000 pipes measuring from 1/4" in to 32 feet.

It was the largest church in North America for 5 decades.

Marché Bonsecours was impressive on the outside, not so much on the inside.

Downtown runs for a couple kilometers.

Mont Royal is a 200 acre park above Montreal with this vista. BTW, notice the 1976 Olympic game venue?

Headed to the Le Plateau neighborhood for Chez Schwartz, a Montreal tradition since 1928.

Yeah. Love this place.

Their signature items are Smoked Meat Sandwich and Poutine Schwartz. 

1) This choice allowed having their specially seasoned smoked meat. 

2) And poutine. 

3) And added coleslaw for $5CAD to make it a healthy meal.

 

After battling an hour of Montreal traffic and then another 2 hours north to St-Jerome and then St-Sauveur.

The famed Mount Tramblant in the Laurentian Mountains.

 

And this Fairmont isn't that impressive.
